We are hiring for a Nocturnist APP position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Qualifications:
- We are currently seeking Acute Care Nurse Practitioners, though we welcome applications from Physician Assistants with hospitalist experience.
- A minimum of one year of hospitalist experience is required; we are unable to consider new graduates at this time.
- ACLS certification is required for all candidates.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- Nocturnist Physician Assistants work 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 pm-7 am.
Key Responsibilities
- Our current daily staffing model includes: seven-daytime rounders, one nighttime rounder, one daytime APP, one nighttime APP, and one swing shift APP.
- You will perform an average of 10-12 non-ICU admissions and pre/post op consultation encounters per shift. Then you will coordinate assignment of additional admissions round robin style for the rest of the day hospitalist physician team. No cross coverage.

- Community support initiatives focus on evidence-based healthcare, collaboration with primary care providers, and addressing prevalent challenges such as an aging population and substance abuse.
