- We take pride in our established team at Texas Health Plano.
- Work alongside board-certified critical care physicians and acute care-trained advanced practice providers to provide care to patients in the 28-bed ICU.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified acute care trained Nurse Practitioner with unrestricted license.
- Prior ICU APP practice time – minimum of 3 years post-training practice – no new graduates.
- Licensed to practice in Texas.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Scheduling:
- PRN – No set monthly shift commitment, offering flexibility to schedule shifts as available and based on program need and your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to medical/surgical/cardiac / neuro ICU patients.
- Demonstrate autonomous care within an ICU setting with support from a full complement of medical subspecialists; demonstrate ability to work autonomously and multitask within the critical care team
- Commit to excellence in the clinical service and demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary to best serve our patients.
- Must provide evidence of procedural competence with the following procedures: central lines, arterial lines, intubations, and chest tubes
- EPIC EMR
