TNP Legislative Ambassadors Need You

Do you want to make a real difference in the next legislative session? Would you like to personally advocate for full practice authority and other pro-APRN legislation? If so, consider applying to become a TNP Legislative Ambassador.

The Legislative Ambassadors program is the cornerstone of TNP’s advocacy efforts. It consists of a grassroots network of nurse practitioners who serve as official TNP liaisons to their State Representative or Senator. Each Legislative Ambassador works closely with TNP staff and the Policy Council on targeted assignments, such as participating in in-district legislative visits with their legislator or attending local political and community events.

TNP is organizing an in-person Legislative Ambassador training session for later this year. It's going to be a great opportunity to learn everything you need to know and meet like-minded peers.

Please email Erin Cusak with TNP erin@texasnp.org if interested. Applications are due by 10/13/2023. Please let me know if you have any questions about the program.
