Texas Red Tape Challenge
I need you guys all to do something.
Sandy McCoy, TNP president, submitted our legislative proposal on the Texas Red Tape Challenge web site and I think it would be good if you all would go and vote favorably on the proposal. It is really a simply process that could help us raise our issue to a new level with the legislature.
The Red Tape Challenge is a web site created by the House Government Efficiency and Reform Committee to allow Texas citizens to submit ideas they would like for the legislature to take up next session. Each week, the site sends out an email to its followers noting new submissions and updating the number of votes in support of various measures. To vote, you will need to go to http://texasredtapechallenge.com/ and join the site (basically input your email address and confirm) and then you can move to vote.
The item you are interested in is idea # 106. You can search for this idea by using the search function in the upper right corner of the page. Simply input 106 and it will pull up the idea entitled "Expanding Access to High-Quality Healthcare using Advanced Pract"
Pass this along to your friends, family, and colleagues. Right now it has four supporters, but let's try and get it into the Top 10 before the end of the week.
